Marooned Game

A recent addition to the genre of interactive hidden object game genre, Marooned is a wonderful first chapter of a trilogy. You wake up from your reverie to find yourself on a deserted island. After a while you realize that you have no recollections of who you are and how you got to this strange place. This is how the plotline in this game starts off. As you might have already guessed, the next most logical step is to look around the island for clues and items that can help you rediscover your own self. A hidden object game begins as you scan and inspect every bit of the island for items and solve puzzles all along the game to get closer to where you came from. As the game progresses, the goal is to solve the riddles and piece the jigsaw pieces of your lost memory together. There are three ways of solving puzzles and finding items that are available to you in the game. The first one is the most obvious list hunt where you look for items from within a list. This is quite similar to what players are used to encountering in traditional hidden object games. Another ingenuous and a bit unconventional type of item search involves finding two items that go together and solve a particular phrase as laid out in the clues. You would also find item outlines in your inventory and these denote objects that can be used in the game to reveal a particular clue. As you move forward in the game, you would chance upon items that can be manipulated. A good way of identifying these would be take your cursor closer to the item and the former would turn into a jigsaw puzzle. There are plenty of hints available in the game to help you spot the more difficult items. The mysterious aura of the ancient civilizations and the various intriguing locations would keep you engrossed in this game for hours. It is a perfect game for casual gamers as it has a slow but pleasant pace. Exploring the lush landscapes and solving the brain teasers that pop up every now and then is most definitely entertaining and fun.
