It is difficult to describe exactly what Chromadrome 2 is. You can call it a killing games genre, but the main objective is not to blast at monsters or enemies. You can call it a racing game, but there are not opponents to race laps around a circuit against. But you can call it crazy, fun, and excitement at the speed of light! The idea is simple. Make your way from START to FINISH, and don't fall off the track! Shoot the chromadromes standing in your way to score extra points, and keep an eye out for the gaps and holes on the track. The faster you can complete the track, the higher you will score. There are a multitude of different game modes that you can unlock to provide extra challenges for those who feel the need for more speed and action. The freestyle options can be switched on to provide some randomization of the tracks, adding to the replayability of the game. Chromadrome is an action-packed hybrid game, full of the elements of a shooting and racing game spread over 100 Levels of fun-filled entertainment. Become immersed in 75 different environments, featuring 3d landscape, dynamic light and special effects, all neatly combined in a futuristic atmosphere. In addition, there are 40 bonus features waiting for you to unlock as you advance through the different stages – all in all many free games to play. As you move through the different stages (or tracks), the path becomes more complex, with hoops, loops, ramps, rings and different obstacles to fill the track between the start and finish line. Staying on the track becomes no trivial task, as the speed picks up, and the track becomes a makeshift rollercoaster ride.
