In Zen mode, the level finishes when there are no possible moves left, but if you manage to fulfill the number of matches required for each color, then you can advance to the next level. The tiles marked with numbers can also be removed by matching them with other colors, so in this mode of play, you have to consider your moves much more carefully and strategically.
