DownloadGames.net editor's review: A puzzle game combining match-3 game-play and strategic elements nicely entwined, Dreamsdwell Stories give you a unique gaming experience. You play the Magic Chainer who is responsible for collecting gold and jewels which would help the villagers to build towns and construct buildings. Your ultimate goal is to have a village with castle, pirate ship, and bridge. The basics of the game-play involve make chains of three or more multicolored gems and stones. The longer your chain is the more gold you collect but overlapping is not allowed. You need to clear the gold-rimmed spheres within a set time to progress on to the next level. To add to the challenge, there are breakable obstacles like silver-rimmed spheres that must be cleared to be turned into gold and some which are not destructible. As the game progresses, the villagers and townsfolk join you in collecting gold and other required resources. There are ample power-ups in the game to help make tasks a tad bit easier like explosion power-ups which make the radius of a cleared sphere larger and timer power-ups. There are two game modes to choose from: Adventure and Quick Play. The graphics are stunning and the soothing music adds to the magical atmosphere of the game. |
